Robert (Bob) Isbill is the creator of On-Topics Speakers for You. Bob was Area Governor of Toastmasters in Area F-4 in the early eighties in which time the membership was tripled, and the number of clubs doubled. He was keynote speaker for the California Writers Club’s first NorCal Leadership Conference held at DeVry University in 2014. He is a graduate of Chapman University and of the Teamsters Leadership Academy in Washington, D.C. He is a certificated divorce mediator and alumnus of Coast-to-Coast Mediation. Bob has thirty years’ experience in the dispute resolution field. As an officer and business agent of Teamsters Local 166, he negotiated with major corporations, served as co-chair of the Pacific Southwest Bakery Conference Labor-Management Committee, and was a Trustee of the Bakery Drivers Health and Welfare Fund. Bob has been a small claims advisor, mediator for the San Bernardino County Courts. He hass been an arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau since 1997. Bob is past president of the High Desert Branch of the California Writers Club (HDCWC) in Apple Valley, California, and is the Central Board Representative for that branch. He holds the position of Director of Advertising and Promotions with the California Writers Club as well as the Director of Publicity and Public RRelations and immediate past Vice-President of the CWC. Bob has for many years served as Programs/Publicity Chair for the HDCWC. He was the creator and project director for 7 “Howling at the Moon” Writers Conferences. Bob was HDCWC organizer and coordinator for a 24-month writers workshop conducted at the Federal Correctional Complex which resulted in nine FCC inmates being included in the 2012 HDCWC anthology, Desert Gold. Bob Is also the founder of the Dorothy C. Blakely Memoir Project which pairs high school students with senior citizens whose memoirs are written by the students and compiled in an anthology produced by the HDCWC.
