 On-Topic Speakers for You: About Us Who are we? On-Topic speakers are writers. Writers are a diverse group of creative people. Writers are unique, yet pretty much the same as everybody else. They have distinct tastes and different personalities. We have one thing in common. We love to write. In most cases we must write. Along the way, most of us have had to make a living doing other things besides writing. We have paid attention to living life and have learned skills that interested us. We have met with hardship, success, failure, and made choices. The On-Topic Speakers are published authors. Some have authored books, but that is not a requirement for belonging to this group. We began this experiment by being curious about what topics we could come up with. What issues that interest us could possibly interest others? If we could form a unit of speakers to talk to others about what life has taught us, how many themes would that include? The answer is ever-expanding.
