Mike's Biography

  

Mike Apodaca was born and raised in Southern California.

After nine years pastoring a church and thirty years in public education (teaching elementary grades), Mike took his retirement. 


Mike would tell you that his greatest treasure is his family: His loving wife, Debi, who’s shared their adventure for 42 years, his two children, and two grandchildren.


Writing: Mike is the president of the High Desert branch of the California Writers Club. He's written nine books (four are on Amazon), two published articles, and multiple short stories in Anthologies. He has received the prestigious Jack London Award for writing.


Christianity: Mike is an ordained pastor who has always been active in his faith. He has a masters degree in theology and runs a Christian critique group.
